XL Panhellenic Conference on Solid State & Materials Science

20–23 September 2026 | Patras, Greece

The Organizing Committee of the XL Panhellenic Conference on Solid State & Materials Science invites researchers, academics, industry professionals, and students to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

The conference provides an international forum for the presentation and discussion of recent advances in the broad fields of Condensed Matter/Solid State Physics and Materials Science. Contributions describing original research, new developments, and emerging directions in these areas are warmly welcomed.

Conference Topics include (but are not limited to):

• Micro/Nano-Electronics, photonics and optoelectronics
• Structural-dynamical and mechanical properties of condensed matter
• Strongly correlated systems, magnetism, and superconductivity
• Surfaces, nanomaterials and low-dimensional materials & systems
• Polymers, organic materials, polymer composites, and biomaterials
• Ceramics, minerals, metals, and composites
• Materials for Energy
• Invited Session in Quantum Technologies for Quantum Materials, co-organized with the School of Natural Sciences of University of Patras.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted contributions will be scheduled as oral presentations or poster presentations, depending on the authors’ preference and the recommendations of the committee.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• Abstracts should present original and unpublished work.
• Submissions must be written in English.
• Detailed formatting instructions and the abstract template will be provided on the conference website.
• Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system.

Abstract submission deadline: 15/06/2026

Notification of acceptance: 31/06/2026

Early registration deadline: 31/07/2026

We encourage early-career researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and Ph.D. students to actively participate and present their work.

Επίσης, ορίστηκε επικεφαλής (μαζί  με τον Julian Groebner από το Παγκόσμιο Κέντρο Ακτινοβολίας WRC) για το συντονισμό των δράσεων της Ομάδας Εργασίας για την Υπεριώδη Ηλιακή Ακτινοβολία.

H IRC είναι η αρχαιότερη από τις δέκα επιτροπές της IAMAS (Διεθνής Ένωση Μετεωρολογίας και Ατμοσφαιρικών Επιστημών) και συντονίζει την έρευνα, καθοδηγεί τις προτεραιότητες και υποστηρίζει τη διεθνή συνεργασία στον τομέα της ατμοσφαιρικής και γήινης ακτινοβολίας στο πλαίσιο της IAMAS (https://www.iamas.org/irc/).
